Integration
Just Whole Care's Founder led the business case for nationally integrating behavioral health, care coordination and parenting supports benefits within pediatrics. It's since raised over $85 million (including from MacKenzie Scott), signed Department of Defense contracts to support military families, become California Medicaid's new 'dyadic care' benefit, and set a course for 1 million at-risk families to thrive annually by 2032.
Advocacy
After George Floyd's murder, our influential strategy launched the US' premier 911 call diversion program with the LAPD, keeping officers out of mental health crises. We also secured $50 million to scale 988 during the pandemic – today saving hundreds of thousands of lives and connecting many more to mental health and substance use care.
FINANCE
Our experts helped secure over $90 million to train and reimburse providers for Adverse Childhood Experiences screening and response in low-income communities. We've since advised the US' first statewide investments in trauma-informed networks of care and precision medicine research – 1.5 million children, adults, and families have been screened to date through Medi-Cal!
POSITIONING
We've grown companies' national visibility and media attention through innovative campaign partnerships like #mentalhealthishealth. Spokesperson Selena Gomez boosted our whole-person, parity-affirming message, then met with US Surgeon General Murthy and President Biden who now say it too!
